For a first walk, Portland members favor Forest Park or coffee at Powell's. The Tom McCall Waterfront is good for a flat loop. Eugene regulars meet at Skinner Butte or along Pre's Trail; Salem couples often start at Bush's Pasture Park. Bend has the Old Mill District and Drake Park. The Coast (Cannon Beach, Newport, Yachats) earns a Saturday drive once you've already met. Hood River is a fine summer alternative.
