The Bellagio fountains arcing white into a deep blue twilight, the Eiffel Tower replica gold across the way, the High Roller wheel catching its own reflection, the Strip in the half hour before the crowds peak. Singles past 50 in Vegas often live in Henderson or Summerlin and rarely set foot on the Strip outside of out-of-town visitors. However you arrived at this point (late divorce, decades on your own, a recent loss), there's a real city behind the postcard.
You don't have to know what you're after. Some members are looking for a partner; others want a Saturday-walk friend, a museum companion, somebody to share dinner once a week. Both are normal here, and people say so on their profile. No assumption everyone's hunting the same thing. Free to set up and read around.
For a first walk, Vegas members favor Red Rock Canyon early in the day or coffee in Summerlin's Tivoli Village. The Springs Preserve is good in the milder months. Henderson regulars meet on Water Street or at Lake Las Vegas; the 18b Arts District works for First Friday. Mt. Charleston earns a Saturday once you've already met. Town Square and downtown Henderson are the standbys for an unhurried evening.
